Job Title: Fractional Scrum Master
Location: Remote
Duration: Part time

About the Role
The Fractional Scrum Master will play a critical role in driving agility, transparency, and delivery excellence across multiple technical teams. This role requires a seasoned Scrum professional who can seamlessly facilitate SAFe/Scrum ceremonies, ensure alignment between cross-functional stakeholders, and support teams in delivering high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, hands-on experience with enterprise-grade tools like Jira and Confluence, and the ability to guide teams through complex development cycles and migration initiatives. This is a remote, part-time engagement supporting front-end, back-end, and IT Operations project streams.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAFe/Scrum-based planning and oversee all aspects of sprint management across assigned teams.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence to maintain sprint boards, track deliverables, and support product/project documentation.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Development Leads, and stakeholders to ensure consistent prioritization and sprint readiness.
• Identify and remove impediments to improve team productivity and efficiency.
• Promote Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles across teams.
• Facilitate alignment between technical teams during cross-functional initiatives.

Core Duties

1. Front-End Development Team
   • Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum sessions, Review meetings, and Sprint Retrospectives.
2. Back-End Development Team
   • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and ensure proper sprint execution and backlog refinement.
3. IT Operations - Internal Systems Migration
   • Manage Scrum ceremonies for internal system migration efforts, ensuring timelines and deliverables stay on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
• Practical experience supporting multiple teams concurrently.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• SAFe certification or prior experience working in a SAFe environment is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fractional capacity.
