• This BDE Online Lesson is a partial component of Ontario’s Ministry-approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) program
• Includes online classroom instruction only, focusing on:
  • Covers 20 hrs theory and knowledge-based modules only
  • Includes also, 10 hrs home assignments 
  • Traffic laws and road signs
  • Defensive driving principles
  • Driver responsibilities and risk awareness
  • Safe driving habits and decision-making
• This online portion alone does not qualify for a BDE certificate
• To receive an official BDE certificate, students must complete:
  • The required in-car driving lessons
  • All components through an MTO-approved driving school
• Designed for students who want flexible, self-paced learning before or alongside in-car training
• Helps prepare learners for road lessons and long-term safe driving

This product represents the online learning portion of the BDE program only. Completion of this component alone does not qualify for insurance discounts or early road test eligibility. A full BDE certificate is issued only after completing all required in-car training with an approved provider.
