LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to recruit an experienced real estate and construction staff attorney. This full time position is ideal for an attorney with at least three years of experience handling real estate transactions, construction related matters, contract negotiation, and general legal support for property development or construction projects. The role requires strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate and construction contracts including purchase agreements, development agreements, construction contracts, and vendor agreements
  • Assist with construction related issues including project documentation, change orders, lien matters, and contract compliance
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda related to real estate, land use, zoning, construction law, and regulatory issues
  • Review title commitments, surveys, easements, and other due diligence materials
  • Support attorneys with transactional matters including closings, document management, and communication with stakeholders
  • Assist with litigation related tasks such as discovery, case organization, and coordination with experts when needed
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, developers, and internal teams regarding ongoing legal matters
  • Maintain organized files and track deadlines to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree and active admission to the state bar
  • Minimum of three years of experience in real estate or construction law within a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, project management concepts, and real estate due diligence
  • Strong drafting, review, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and a client focused approach
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff in a fast paced environment

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
