About the Role
The Company is a nonprofit organization with a strong focus on supporting combat veterans in their transition to civilian life. They are in search of a President/Chief Operating Officer to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be a dedicated servant leader and a follower of Christ, with a background in executive leadership and development. This role is key to the organization's mission of providing a Christ-centered community and resources to help at-risk veterans find healing and recovery. The President/COO will work closely with the Board of Directors and the current CEO to ensure that the organization's programs continue to identify and support isolated veterans, offering them the opportunity to engage in outdoor adventures and build meaningful relationships with fellow service members. The ideal candidate for the President/COO position at the company will be a visionary leader with a passion for the outdoors and a deep commitment to the well-being of veterans. Responsibilities will include strategic planning, program development, and operational management to advance the organization's mission. The role demands a compassionate individual who can effectively manage the day-to-day operations while also fostering a culture of support and hope. A background in executive leadership and development is essential, as is the ability to work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the organization's goals are met. The candidate should be prepared to serve as a successor for the ministry, carrying on the legacy of the current CEO and upholding the values of the organization.
