Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
2. Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary with inspection, photos, and other documentation. Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates.
3. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
4. Document and maintain client files in a timely manner.
5. Complete required Continuing Education to meet Illinois licensing requirements, maintain valid insurance license

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to help others
• A valid driver's license and a source of reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain an existing client base.
• Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
• Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
