Our client is one of Europe’s fastest-growing boutique fitness chains, with six studios (and counting), >2M annual revenue, healthy EBITDA margin, and over 100% growth for three consecutive years. Their goal: 20+ studios in the next 5 years Their immersive high-intensity, low-impact reformer workouts transform not just bodies, but entire lifestyles. They are now looking for a Head of Product Development & Training to join their corporate leadership team, reporting directly to our two co-founders. This is a career-defining opportunity for a high-achiever who is passionate about fitness, entrepreneurship, and scaling premium consumer brands/experiences. The role will be remote first (unless you want and can relocate permanently (visa required)) with regular visits in Switzerland (primarily Zürich), e.g. about 3 weeks every quarter. There you will be close to our founders, our studios, and the operational heart of our business. As we expand further, the role will naturally evolve. Mission Their mission is to improve people’s fitness, health and overall life. Responsibilities You will take full responsibility for hiring, training and leading our coaches and in all our studios, starting with Zürich and Switzerland, before extending your scope to other cities/countries as well as making sure our experience is unique and according to our brand promise. This is a high-ownership, high-impact position: you report directly to the founder, shape the product, and directly drive revenue through better coaches → higher retention → referrals → brand → faster new openings. Lead strategy, design, and continuous evolution of our comprehensive instructor education & certification program (from beginner onboarding to advanced master trainers). Build and manage scalable recruitment pipelines for high-caliber reformers instructors across Europe (sourcing, vetting, onboarding) to deliver the necessary high-quality coaches for the existing and new studios Create standardized training curricula, SOPs, video libraries, in-person intensives, and ongoing development (continuing education, level-ups, performance coaching) on top of what we already built. Own "Product" for the member experience: innovate new exercises, progressions, class formats, special populations programming, reformer sequences, and retention tools — ensuring every class delivers measurable results, the wow-factor and is waitlisted. Develop and roll out central instructor academy (virtual + in-studio) to support rapid studio openings without quality drop-off. Travel to Zürich/Switzerland 3–4 times per year (2–3 weeks each) for hands‑on studio audits, live training workshops, team immersion, and founder alignment — all travel/logistics fully covered. Collaborate closely with ops and marketing to align training with sales, retention, and brand standards. Track KPIs ruthlessly: instructor certification rates, class NPS, member retention linked to coach performance, cost‑per‑hire for instructors, etc. and iterate fast. Build a small, elite training team over time as we scale. 5–10+ years in boutique fitness, ideally with direct experience scaling instructor programs at leading brand (high‑volume group training chains). Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale teacher training/certification programs (comprehensive apparatus, special populations, online/in‑person hybrid). Deep reformer pilates expertise (certifications a plus, but real‑world scaling experience matters more). Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in fast‑moving, resource‑constrained environments and love building. Obsessive about standards, detail‑oriented, ambitious, and data‑driven — you don't settle for "good enough." Strong communicator (written + verbal) who can inspire and train across cultures/time zones. Comfortable with remote work + periodic international travel (US passport or easy Schengen access ideal). Bonus: Experience adapting US fitness models for international/European markets. What you get A career defining #3 role behind the two co‑founders, with full responsibility for product & training, which is key to scale our brand. Impact: Your work will directly enable us to go from 6 to 20+ studios – you’ll build the team and training machines that defines our premium tone. reformer pilates workouts in Europe. Real ownership in a rocket‑ship business with proven PMF and cash flow. Lifestyle: Mainly remote from the US, with epic Switzerland trips (Alps, lakes, precision culture) paid for. No daily commute. Founder access: Direct line to the founders – decisions move fast, no bureaucracy. Timing: We are growing fast – join now to shape the foundation before we hit even further scale. If you’re the person who scaled instructor excellence at a national boutique chain and wants to leverage this experience to build Europe’s next big fitness brand, we want to talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
