Based in London, Ontario, we are a Ministry of Transportation (MTO) approved driving school committed to helping students of all ages become safe, skilled, and confident drivers.
Our training is led by fully licensed and experienced MTO-certified instructors who understand that every student learns differently. Whether you are a beginner starting with your G1, preparing for your G2 or G road test, or looking to improve your driving skills, we tailor our lessons to match your comfort level, learning style, and schedule.
We offer a wide range of flexible packages, including in-car lessons, road test preparation, highway driving, night driving, winter driving techniques, and the Beginner Driver Education (BDE) program. At New World Driving School, we proudly offer a Ministry of Transportation (MTO)–approved driver education program that meets all provincial standards for safe, certified instruction.
Student safety and success are our top priorities. Our classes are led by highly qualified, MTO-certified instructors with many years of experience in driver training. They are skilled, supportive, and well-respected in the driving education industry. We ensure every lesson is engaging, interactive, and enjoyable, and students are encouraged to participate in class activities to enhance learning. Bonus marks may be awarded for active participation.
To successfully complete the program:
A minimum grade of 70% is required for the in-class portion
A minimum grade of 75% is required for the in-vehicle training
Every student receives a workbook that must be completed by the end of the course. In addition, we regularly invite guest speakers to discuss important topics such as impaired driving, road safety, and responsible decision-making.
Students have one full year from the course start date to complete all required components, including:
20 hours of in-class instruction
10 hours of in-car training
Once all requirements have been successfully met, the student will be certified with the Ministry of Transportation. Please note: students who exceed the one-year time limit will no longer be eligible for certification.
Upon successful completion, certification may help students qualify for insurance discounts, depending on their insurance provider. We do not determine or guarantee discount amounts. To prove course completion, students will need to obtain a Driver Licence History Report, available at any ServiceOntario location or online at serviceontario.ca, for a fee of $12.00.
